1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fabel ("the Service"), operated by Oclo Labs AB ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fabel is an AI-powered platform that enables users to create personalized illustrated storybooks. Users can customize stories with their own characters, choose from various artistic styles, and order physical printed copies of their books through our print-on-demand service.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

We may create temporary anonymous accounts to allow you to explore the Service. Anonymous accounts may be converted to full accounts by providing your email address.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide to create your storybooks, including character names, descriptions, and story premises ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. AI-Generated Content & Intellectual Property

The illustrations and story text generated by our AI systems are created specifically for your book based on your inputs. You receive a license to use this AI-generated content for personal, non-commercial purposes, including in your printed books.

The Fabel platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Oclo Labs AB and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Payment Terms

Creating digital storybooks on Fabel is free. If you choose to order a printed copy, you will be charged the price displayed at checkout, including printing, shipping, and applicable taxes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Prices are displayed in your local currency where possible. Final prices include all applicable fees and are shown before you complete your purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oclo Labs AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
